SavageWorld: Armor

by Bantari (bantari@yahoo.com)

This mod adjusts the weights, prices, and AC of all the native light armors in the Vvardenfall. Other armor types are not touched, since I never use medium armor or heavy armor anyways, so maybe they are well spread, I don't know. Maybe when I decide to play a Knight I will find out.

The weights of all light armor parts have been set to a standard:

Boots: 1.00
Greaves: 2.00
Cruisas: 2.00
Pauldrons: 1.00
Gauntlets: 1.00
Bracers: 0.50
Shield: 1.00
Tower shield: 2.00

The various types of light armor (complete sets or not) are adjusted to the following AC values:

Cloth: AC=5, BP=5
Netch Leather: AC=7, BP=10
Clovian Fur: AC=8, BP=30
Leather: AC=10, BP=50
Boiled Netch Leather: AC=10, BP=50
Nordic Leather: AC=12, BP=70
Nordic Fur: AC=15, BP=100
Nordic Bearskin Fur: AC=17, BP=200
Dust Adept: AC=18, BP=300
Mole Crab: AC=19, BP=400
Cephalopod: AC=20, BP=500
Chitin: AC=20, BP=500
Velothian: AC=22, BP=600
Redoran: AC=25, BP=800
Imperial Studded Leather: AC=25, BP=800
Riekling: AC=27, BP=800
Goblin: AC=30, BP=1000
Wolf: AC=30, BP=1000
Imperial Newtscale: AC=32, BP=1500
Heavy Leather: AC=35, BP=2000
Dark Bro: AC=40, BP=3000 *
Morag Tong: AC=45, BP=3000
Snow Wolf: AC=45, BP=4000
Glass: AC=50, BP=5000
Bound: AC=80 (same)

The prices of armor pieces were adjusted accordingly with their AC value, or so I hope. The above values of BP (=Base Price) are the prices of bracers, gaunlets, and pauldrons. Boots, Helmets, and Shields are priced x2, Greaves and Tower Shields are priced x3, and Cuirasses are priced x5. Enchanted items are additionally priced x2, unless they are already more expensive.

There are some armor pieces which do not conform to this list. These are unique items:

Boots of the Apostle: AR=80
Cuirass of the Savior's Hide: AC=80

* Dark Bro prices have been left untouched, even though they do not fit into the hierarchy anymore. This is beacuse it would unbalance the game to be able to sell so much of so expensive armor (each time after assassin attacks.)

Dependencies: Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon.
This is a "light" mod, i.e. it does not rely on external art.
