Ravenloft

Add-Ons

Add-Ons are small mods which can work in tandem with Ravenloft to enrich and enhance the playing experience.
All of them are dependent on Ravenloft and cannot be run separately.

Each of these add-ons can be obtained from the Downloads Page.

The Ravenloft Shack Add-On

Ravenloft: Shack

The Ravenloft: Shack add-on provides a simple exterior to the whole Ravenloft complex. It places the house in the Ascadian Isles, slightly to the south-west of Ebonheart.

The Shack is situated on a small island which was "beautified" with some trees and shrubs. There is a nice fire going on the beach and a ship waiting in the back. The ship is not working, just for decoration.

In the center of the island stands the Shack. It is a small affair, with but one simple room furnished slightly. There is a hammock, some containers, a shelf, and so on. And a trap-door which gets you to the Ravenloft Main Hall.

The add-on is "light-weight", meaning there is no extra files (like textures or meshes) necessary to run the mod (although, of course, you need Ravenloft).

Installation:
To install, place the file in your Morrowind/Data Files folder and then enable the mod upon next game start.

Screenshots:
You can find an album with The Shack screenies on the Ravenloft Gallery page.

Issues:
There is a physical conflict between the Shack and one of the castle which is part of the excellent Suran Underworld mod. Nothing major, nothing that prevents play, just some garbled architecture.

The Ravenloft Tower Add-On

Ravenloft: Tower

The Ravenloft: Tower add-on provides a nice exterior to the whole Ravenloft complex. It places the house in the Azura's Cost right opposite the great Shrine of Azura statue. I have created this add-on after I discovered the conflict between The Ravenloft Shack and the Suran Underworld mod.

There is no "entrance" to the tower itself from the outside, so the only way to get inside is for the player to actually fly to the top platform where there is a small house. Inside the house you can find a teleporter to Ravenloft Main Hall.

The Tower itself is done in a typical Telvanni style, with mushrooms and and stuff. Same goes for the interior of the house. Only some of the stuff (mostly furniture and containers) are re-textured. I tried to keep it simple.

Installation:
To install, place the file in your Morrowind/Data Files folder and then enable the mod upon next game start.

You can find an album with The Shack screenies on the Ravenloft Gallery page.

Issues:
None that I know of.
Please email me if you find any problems.

The Ravenloft Dungeons Add-Ons — Legacy Only!!

Important for ver.5.x and above:
The dungeons add-ons are all bundled with the new Ravenloft 5.x release, so there is no need to download them separately.
The separate addons will not work properly with Ravenloft ver.5.x.

Well... a house would not be a house without a dungeon, right? Lol. Maybe not... but i decided to spice up the life in Ravenloft anyways. So there they are - the dungeon add-ons. Each of them can be entered through the Rabenloft: Undercellar room. But you need to find it first (is not hard.) You can use all of the Dungeon add-ons at the same time, they do not interfere with each other. Neither do they in any way shape or form interface with the world outside. The only entry/exit points are through Ravenloft.

Currently there are three different Dungeon add-ons:

Ravenloft: Starter Dungeon (DStarter)

A large, 10-level dungeon, with rich treasure and easy opponents to fight. It was created entirely with GenMod v3.1.

Ravenloft: Big Dungeon (DBig)

— A huge, 100-leve dungeon. The levels are randomly generated with different style each. The treasure is good, and the monsters are also randomly placed. As of this writing, I have not yet explored all the levels, so I am not entirely sure what's in there. Surprise? I hope so. The thing is created entirely with GenMod v3.1.

Ravenloft: Dwemer Dungeon (DDwemer)

— This one is different. It is a 5-level dwemer dungeon, but while the layout is generated with GenMod, the contents are entirely hand-placed. At the end of it, there is a very tough boss guy, with some nifty stuff on him in case you survive the battle. But you probably won't... it is a tough, tough dungeon, trust me. :)

The Ravenloft Keys Add-Ons

Important for ver.5.x and above:
The key addons are not necessary for ver.5.x because the key amulet is placed in Senda Neen anyhow.
However - you can still download and use the below addons if you wish - you will just end up with multiple keys, which is not a problem.

Each of the Key add-ons has basically the same function - it places the Ravenloft Teleportation Amulet which enables you to enter Ravenloft somewhere in the world. It is for the people who are unwilling or unable to use the console to add the amulet to their inventories.

You can use each of the Key add-ons simultaneously, but there is no reason for that, since you only need one amulet.

Currently there are three different Key add-ons to choose from:

Ravenloft: KeySeyda

— Places the amulet in Seyda Neen Arille's Tradehouse, upstairs in the locked room, on the chair. You have to figure out the way to get into the room first, but then you just take the amulet and use it as you wish.

Ravenloft: KeySeydaPuzzle

— Places the amulet somewhere in Seyda Neen... inside or outside, I don't know. You need to find it. And its not easy!

— Hint —
The amulet is inside a wooden box that was not there before.
The box is behind another object, so you have too look carefully - only a small corner is visible.

Ravenloft: KeySeydaEasy

— This one is for whimps. It places the amulet in Seyda Neen, in Arille's Tradehouse, on Arille's counter. Nobody has the ownership of the amulet so you can simply take it and voila! As I said - whimpy. :)

Ravenloft: KeySamarys

— Created by Vlad Tepes, this addon places the Ravenloft teleportation amulet in the Samarys Ancestral Tomb, right next to the urn with Lord Brinne's ashes.
