Secret Hideout

Description

New in ver.5.05b (and ver.5.05d):
— ver.5.05b does not contain Secret Storage anymore.
— ver.5.05b has 40 mannequins instead of 20 in the Display Room.
— there are two display rooms now, one with mannequines and one with display cases.
— the Panic Room has some temporary ueber enhancements for the player. Don't need to use them, but the idea is that in your own home you should be invincible (when you are jumped by db assassins, for example.)

Note on ver.5.03c:
This version was hosted here for a short period of time. It had some errors in it (especially in the way you would invoke the teleportation amulet), so I have removed it and replaced it with ver.5.05b. This new version is pretty much identical to ver.5.03c with three main exceptions: problems have been fixed, many teleporters have been added, and two extra rooms have been added: the Practice Room and the Summoning Lab. (For the record, the teleporter amulet for ver.5.03c is named __h_teleport_amulet rather than the usual __rb_sh_teleport_amulet, so if you are using this version, please take this into account when issuing console commands to fetch it.)

Ravenloft: Quarters

Description of version 4.01c:

The Secret Hideout started as a small Hole-In-The-Ground right outside the gates of Balmora. It was my attempt to create a small-and-coze one-room hideout for all these assassin and thief types out there. For when the roleplaying demanded something other than the kingly Ravenloft.

This is how it started... However! As time went by, and I played the mod, I decided I miss all the facilities of Ravenloft, and so I kept adding and adding. And the Hole-In-The-Ground grew and grew... Form one small room it became one larger room with two levels... then other rooms were added as I kept tinkering. And so on...

To make a long story short, the final result is that Secret Hideout grew to became a 6-room house, full of the same cozy feel as Ravenloft, and including pretty much the same facilities. Although I took some care to still preserve the one-room feel of the place, and Secret Hideout can be played wihout ever entering (or even noticing) the other 5 rooms.

Well... for completenes' sake, let me here briefly describe all the rooms. The main room, called simply Secret Hideout, is the main storage and sleeping area. It has tons and tons of containers, a mannequin, a bed. In contains a smith Anvil, and a spellmaker/enchanter Felix the Skull (same guys you know from Ravenloft, but there will be no conflict if you use both.) Also from here you can teleport to most important locations in Vvardenfell via the teleporters on the wall.

Ravenloft: Sanctum

Next to the main room, there are 5 other rooms, as already said. The first of these is the Display Room. It contains 20 mannequines as well as some display cabinets and tables. The second room is the Practice Room, which contains practice dummies for melee practice, an archery target for ranged practice, and ever-locked chests for lockpicking practice. The third room is the Summoning Room. Within are specially designed "cages" which will hold any summoned creature for "experiments", hehe...

The remaining two rooms are rather minor in their function. There is the Panic Room, for when you are attacked in your sleep. It has another bed as well as another teleportation wall from which most major destinations can be reached. And then there is the Secret Storage... which is just what it says: storage, secret. You need to find the way in, and once you do you will be rewarded with some extra storage space, as if you needed it. :)

And that's that. Small, simple.

As with Ravenloft and my other "interior" mods, Secret Hideout has not exterior, the only way in is by using a teleportation amulet. The amulet can only be obtained through the console command, so the mod does not interact with the outside world at all. And thus there are no conflicts with other mods.

Please feel free and enjoy the Secret Hideout.
I sure had fun designing it. :)
