The focus of this section is the ancient oriental game of Go, also known as Weiqi (or Wei Ch'i) in China and Baduk in Korea. To summarize or explain the game in a few words is not easy... one could say that Go is a game of teritorry... of surrounding... of building structures out of nothing. One could get spiritual and say that Go is a game of the soul. Or one could remain mundane and say that, after all, its just a game...
The simple truth is that Go is a different thing for different people. Nice little hobby, a profession, a passion, a lifestyle, a philosophy... or all of these combined, and more! Different things at different times...
But regardless of what Go means to you personally, regardless of your level of expertise and immersion, one thing is certain: Go is Worthy! For it makes you grow and mature as a human being, even as you uncover its many secrets, it is discovering you. And so it forces you to discover yourself.
And therein, among others, lies its greatest beauty...
If you are not yet familiar with Go, a good starting point is to read the Introduction.
Other than that, you migth want to read the Page-01@Rules.
