Well, lets see...

My name is Rafael Bugajski.
I was born in Poland on August 16, 19xx.
I am currently living in San Diego, California.
Before I came to US, I lived in Poland, Italy, Germany, Canada - in that order.

I am known in certain circles on the internet as Bantari.

Personally
My life is great. I just got married (Dec.18/2005) to a very beautiful and smart woman, and I couldn't be any happier. We have two little dogs, a Bichon Frise named Merlin (my wife's dog) and a mutt named Hobbit (mine!).

Professionally
I currently work as a Software Engineer at Stemgent, a startup company which I hope will go a long long way before the big boys notice and gobble us up. ;)

Hobbies
My main hobby is the oriental game Go, also known as Weiqi (in China) and Baduk (in Korea). My playing strength is currently equivalent to 3d AGA (down from 5d, lol), but it deteriorates fast due to lack of serious play. This does not deter me from having fun, though (read more). Next to playing, I also enjoy reading and posting on various Go forums (like rec.games.go or GoDiscussions.com) as well as wrecking havock on various go servers (like KGS, Yahoo!Go or Kurnik).

Other things I enjoy doing is playing computer games (mostly RPG stuff, like the Elder Scrolls series - especially Morrowind), reading (especially the SF/Fantasy-kind, like Bulmer's Kregen cycle), and programming.

After all is said and done - I am a pretty happy camper. ;)
